Dr. Terry helps out at a distribution site in Zimbabwe. A white sack of supplies weighs as much as 65 lbs (30 kg) and can feed a family of six for more than a month. Anywhere from 300 to 500 sacks are given out at a single AAC distribution. "The villagers are always overwhelmed by the volume of food," says Dr. Terry. "But however they can get it home, they get it home."
